Job Description

Head, Business Development:

  • Your priority in this role is to plan and implement comprehensive business development programs that increase revenue and profits, by leading a team to secure meaningful new business opportunities.
  • Youll be accountable for the Mumbai sales and gross margin targets, so youll have a prominent voice on our leadership team. Youll be counted on to influence our strategic planning and bring your hard-won acumen to bear on the broader business.

Specifically, we intend you to take up the responsibilities of;

  • Increase the scalability by leading the sales team in qualified lead generation; building and maintaining a strong sales funnel
  • Leveraging resources to meet and exceed our win rate goal
  • Guide your team to focus on new business with significant growth opportunities
  • Develop strong influencer networks to drive referrals
  • Create an activity performance plan for the sales team, with clear KPIs
  • Train, coach and develop the sales team
  • Address gaps in our offering to ensure were winning all furniture categories
  • Join our Leadership Team, which is responsible for driving our organizational growth plan

  • This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our impeccable office environment, in Mumbai, that reflects our brand and our culture so we can help our customers do the same. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree, preferably in business
  • 10+ years of business development sales experience in a service-oriented B2B organization
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership and management role
  • Strong record of sales successes driving sales results in a complex customer buying process
  • Record of success in strategically leading teams to capture new business opportunities
  • A comprehensive understanding of the buying process, and utilizing the challenger selling methodology
